No. Each cover includes tools and instructions. Most customers install within two hours.
Will the cover damage my steering wheel?
No. It protects the wheel. If the wheel is already peeling, handle carefully during install or removal.
If you wheel is brand new, you could just intsall the cover without the tape.
How do I clean the cover?
Use a microfiber cloth and suitable cleaner for leather or Alcantara®
Is the cover permanent?
No. The cover can be removed or replaced anytime.
Can I install it myself?
Yes! Most customers install it themselves in about 1–2 hours.
Do I need to remove the steering wheel?
No, you don’t need to remove the wheel. Installation can be done directly in the car.
How is the grip after installation?
The grip feels excellent—comfortable, secure, and anti-slip for better control.
Does it still work with heated steering wheels?
Yes, it works perfectly with heated wheels. The cover is only 1.4 mm thick, so heat transfer is not affected.
Should I remove the original leather before installing?
No, please do not remove the OEM leather. The cover is designed to go directly on top of your original steering wheel.
